ABA Therapy in Greenacres, FL

Updated: October 21, 2026

Our office is on Lake Worth Road in Greenacres. When you call, you are reaching a team that lives and works in your corner of Palm Beach County, and that helps children with autism learn, play and talk at home and at school.

Home base: our Greenacres office

Paramount Behavior is at 6145 Lake Worth Rd, Suite A, Greenacres, FL 33463. Our phones are answered Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. and Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., which helps when you can only call after work or after the school pickup line.

Our therapists are RBTs, or Registered Behavior Technicians, and every one of them is supervised by a BCBA, a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. The BCBA designs your child's plan and checks it. The RBT works with your child one-on-one. Part of the team speaks Spanish, so you can do the call, the paperwork and the parent coaching in the language you use at home.

What in-home ABA looks like in Greenacres

Applied Behavior Analysis, or ABA, is a way of teaching new skills in small steps and making learning feel good. In-home ABA means the therapist comes to you. Your child learns in the rooms and routines they already know, so a new skill does not stay stuck in a therapy room.

Goals come from your family's real days. Depending on your child, a session might work on:

  • asking for what they want with words, signs, pictures or a device
  • getting dressed, brushing teeth and sitting for a meal
  • waiting, taking turns and handling a change of plans
  • playing next to a brother, sister or cousin

Greenacres and the neighbors we serve

We serve families in Greenacres and in the towns around it. Palm Springs sits just to the east, Lake Worth Beach and Lantana are a short drive away, and Wellington is to the west. If you live near Military Trail, Swain Boulevard or Jog Road, you are in our home territory. If you are not sure whether your address is covered, ask us when you call and we will tell you straight.

Schools in Greenacres and what the district offers

Greenacres children attend schools run by the School District of Palm Beach County, such as Cholee Lake, Diamond View, Greenacres, Heritage and Liberty Park elementary schools and John I. Leonard High School. The district's Exceptional Student Education (ESE) department provides autism-related services at many schools from Pre-K through high school, and the program varies with each student's needs.

If your child is between about 3 and 5 and not yet in public school, FDLRS Alpha Child Find offers free developmental screenings. You do not need a doctor's referral or insurance. Your child's school ESE coordinator is the contact once your child is enrolled.

ABA at home and support at school can work together. Tell us what the school is asking of your child and we can line up goals so the same skills are practiced in both places. Whether a therapist can join a school day is arranged with the school, so raise it early.

Free local help worth knowing about

Greenacres has more support nearby than many families realize. Some of it costs nothing:

  • Early Steps, run locally by Easterseals Florida as Treasure Coast Early Steps, serves children from birth to 36 months with developmental delays. Anyone, including you, can make a referral.
  • FAU CARD, the Center for Autism and Related Disabilities, offers free consultation, trainings and referrals to families in Palm Beach County. It does not provide therapy, which is where ABA fits in.
  • The 2-1-1 Special Needs Helpline, partly funded by the Children's Services Council of Palm Beach County, helps families raising children up to age 22 find resources.
  • The Greenacres Branch library, at 3750 Jog Road, is part of the county library system, which holds Sensory Friendly Browsing Hours at locations across the county. Check the library calendar for dates.
  • The Therapeutic Recreation Complex at John Prince Park, 2728 Lake Worth Road, offers adapted recreation. Call the county parks department for current programs.

Paying for ABA

Florida Medicaid generally pays for behavior analysis for people under 21 when it is medically necessary. Many private plans in Florida must also cover ABA for an autism diagnosis, under a state law known as the Steven A. Geller Autism Coverage Act. We work with Florida Medicaid, including Molina Healthcare, Sunshine Health, Children's Medical Services Health Plan and Community Care Plan, and we can check your benefits with private plans such as Aetna, Cigna, Florida Blue and UnitedHealthcare.

Benefits differ from plan to plan, so we check yours for you and tell you what is covered before anything starts.

What happens when you call

The first consultation is free, and we book it as soon as you call. You can ask us anything. Then we check your insurance for free, usually the same day. After that, a BCBA meets your child, starting with strengths and then challenges. There is no waitlist: we have openings. What sets the pace after that is the paperwork (the doctor's referral, a diagnostic evaluation, and insurance or Medicaid authorization) and your family's schedule.

Ready when you are. Send the quick request form on this page or call us at (561) 421-0047, and we will take it from there.

Do you offer ABA therapy at my home in Greenacres?

Yes. In-home sessions are the core of what we do. A therapist comes to your home, and a BCBA supervises the plan. We can also support your child at school.

Can my child's sessions be in Spanish?

Yes. Part of our team is bilingual, and sessions, parent training and paperwork can all be in Spanish.

Does my child need a diagnosis first?

Florida Medicaid and most private plans need documentation of medical need before ABA starts, usually a comprehensive diagnostic evaluation and a doctor's order. If you do not have these yet, call us anyway. We can explain the next step and point you to local evaluation options.
